Amanda Hite

Director of Recruitment

Amanda has worn many hats in the long-term care realm as an advocate for older adults. She is passionate about Therapy Partners' mission, and she has been recruiting for the company since 2006. Amanda graduated from The University of Akron with a degree in dietetics and food service management.

Amanda is a closet Karoke enthusiast and a big fan of "good times," in general. She traveled the country to compete in Tae Kwon Do and was a three-peat gold medalist in sparring. These days, she enjoys time at home with her rock star kids and husband, and her Basset Hound-Border Collie mix, Hank Williams, Jr.

Jim Kal

Director of Staffing Services

Jim climbed the executive recruiting ladder in the real estate settlement industry fast. Within a year of graduating from John Carroll University with a degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, he landed a role as Vice President of Business Development for a successful contingent search company within American Human Resource Associates. In 2007, Jim switched gears and entered the healthcare industry as a Staffing and Recruiting Manager. He joined Therapy Partners in 2009 and is now the Director of the Staffing Services Department.

Jim is an avid volleyball player who was ranked 13th in the nation when he played for John Carroll University. He still competes in local and regional USAV leagues and tournaments. Jim also plays Disc Golf on courses across Ohio and is always looking to improve his foosball skills. He also enjoys hockey, table tennis and a good game of beach volleyball. (Ask him if he knows any card tricks.)

Yvonne Schaefer

Human Resources, Company Relations Specialist

Yvonne grew up in the long-term care industry, starting her first job when she was 16 years old. She is Activity Director Certified and has worked in this capacity since 1996. After joining Therapy Partners in 2008, Yvonne earned her Professional Human Resources (PHR) accreditation from The University of Akron.

Yvonne recently married her best friend and enjoys spending time with family. She's a scrapbooker, an avid reader, a strong public speaker and a weekend golfer.
